Peace
Once I had a dream
A nightmare to scream,
A race to terrace
To witness the crackers ablaze.
I knew I was still at home
But it was showering from the Iron Dome.
Every missile I tried to dodge
An unknown life disparaged,
And now as they plunged down from planes,
I pray to shooting stars on gaze
To escape a nightmare than to brace.
