A hit
A plain glass window of the quietest rooms
Had been left locked for eternity.
On hearing noises, found out a not so silent stranger,
Knock knock, was all she did
Those staring eyes on a swaying head
Fearing a mighty thrust from the petite creature,
I said 'I'm innocent'
But the pecker saw me more human
And went on pecking.
Sharing some of that courage,
I braved further, but she flew away.
