Reflections
A friend or foe of the green leaf,
So lively, a caterpillar.
For all the ruins, its days boisterous.
But like the moon to wane someday,
It pupated and cocooned one day.
What a doom to be within the room,
And all the darkness, for it was once all gay.
Oh so lovely as the time passed
Hued so beautiful, with every ray of light,
Reflected as the life might.
More transcendent and fluttery,
Even more than the winged life
That is yet to set flight.
